YIB-Youth Information Bridge

 To Hear and To Be Heard...

YIB-Youth Info Bridge was created by GSM-Youth Services Centre and British Council in order to provide information transfer to youth and youth NGOs about recent developments in the field of youth in Turkey and Europe; local, regional, national and international youth activities, funding opportunities, documents, call for participants and partners in local, regional and national level by using internet as a tool.

 YIB-Youth Info Bridge, aiming the active participation of youth in civil society, started in September, 2003 with the motto of “To Hear and To Be Heard”on ‘www.yib.gen.tr’ address and received 2.609.008 hits until July, 2007.

 The target group of YIB-Youth Info Bridge was the young people15-30 year-old, working, studying, unemployed, disabled, and the ones who are willing to take place in civil society actively. Also local, regional, national NGOs working on youth and all other establishments and organizations designing projects on youth (institutions working on environment, women, education, culture, arts, kids, the physically and mentally disabled; donations; university student clubs, related governmental organizations, universities and local governments) constitutes other target group of YIB.
